SUBJECT:
FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM - BIG ROCK POINT C-The Commission has issued the enclosed hendment No. 47 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-6 for the Big Rock Point Nuclear Plant.
This amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application dated. lune 27, 1980, as supplemented September 22, 1980.
This amendment adds operability and surveillance requirements for fire protection equipment added by plant modifications in accc dance with the requirements of Amendment No. 25, dated April A,1979.
Your compliance with the requirements of Appendix R to 10 CFR Part 50 will be the subject of a subsequent safety evaluation.
Copics of our related Safety Evaluation and the Notice of Issuance are also enclosed.
