The purpose of this letter is to co= ment on the lic-ensing of Units 2 and 3 of the San Onofre duelear Power Plant.

As one can see from my address I live within 1 mile of the Plant.

I am in favor of the principle of using nuclear power to supplement our existing energy resources such as coal, water, oil, geothermal, solar, etc.

I must trust and believe that the design, construction, operation and management of this and other US nuclear plants is adequate and redundantly safe.
