9 Daar Mr. O'Reilly:
On June 2, 1980 your office was informed that a concentrated boric acid storage tank (CBAST) pump was removed from service for preventive maintenance, which constitutes operation in a degraded mode.. Reportable Occurrence Report RO-269/80-17, providing details of the incident, was to have been submitted by June 27, 1980. However, investigation of the incident is not complete.
It is anticipated that the report will be submitted no later than July 11, 1980.
