10 CFR 50.55 (e) Interim Report on Rod Drop Analysis
Dear Sir:
Reference 5 was submitted in accordance with the requirements of 10 C?R 50.55 (e) and identified a deficiency in the rod drop analysis. That interim report made a commitment to review the Westinghouse prepared topical report, which was to be pre-pared by mid 1980, and submit a final report on the r<
drop analysis to you by 8/28/80.
References 6 and 7 were submitted to notify the NRC that because Westinghouse had not yet submitted a topical report, we were unable to provide a final report.
Westinghouse has now completed their topical report and is in the process of setting up a meeting with the NRC to discuss this topic generically. At the present time no date has been set for this meeting.
Subsequent to the meeting between Westinghouse and the NRC, Westinghouse will pro-vide us with the topical report and we will provide a final report to the NRC on rod drop analysis.
