With an application dated April 1,1981, your Company paid fees totalling
$4,400 pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22. The application was filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (0NRR) for review of proposed revisions to certain requirements set forth in the USNRC's Orders dated October 2,1980 and January 9,1981, fc7 vaach Bottom Unit Hos. 2 and 3 on-Scram Discharge Systems.
Based'on information provided by the ONRR staff as a result of a preliminary review of your application, it has been determined that this application results from previous orders. On this basis, an exemption pursuant to 10 CFR 170.ll(b) from the fee requirements of 10 CFR 170.22 is authorized by law, and such exemption is otherwise in the public interest and is hereby granted for your April 1 application. Therefore, we have concurrently authorized the Office of-the Controller to refund to your Company the $4,400 paid for.this application.
Refunds are generally processed by the Office of the Controller within a two-week period.
