Washington, DC 20555 DOCKET 50-155, LICENSE DPR-6 BIG ROCK POINT PLANT By letter dated December 22, 1975, Consumers Power Company provided a report describing its efforts with respect to achieving compliance with the Interim Acceptance Criteria (IAC). The report stated that the scheduled outage start date for the installation of the RDS system was January 9,1976, even though consideration was being given to postponing the outage start date. This

1etter is written to inform you that the outage start date has been postponed until January 23, 1976.
The December 22, 1975 letter reported that the construction effort was behind schedule due to a lack of electrical materials and approved installation.
Attempts to expedite the materials and the implementation of a second ex-tended shift have not been completely successful in making up the lost time.
Thus, we have determined that it is necessary to postpone the outage start date for two weeks. This vill allow more effective utilization of the plant shutdown time.
Also, the delivery schedule of some components of the redesigned fuel dry sipping system has slipped and they will not be delivered to the plant until the week of January 12, 1976. As it is desirable to start fael sipping about four days after plant shutdown, tne two-week postponement of the schedule vill provide adequate time for preoperational testing or this system.
