BIG ROCK POINT PLANT g/
The determination issued for the Big Rock Point Plant by the Director of Regulation, USAEC, en August 5, 1974 required that reports be submitted at least every three months describing Consumers Fover Company's efforts with respect to achieving compliance with the Interim Acceptance Criteria (IAC).
This letter is written to provide the required report.
Previous reports were submitted Hovember 5, 1974, December 30, 1974, March 10, 1975, June 27, 1975 and September 26, 1975 The actuation syster equipment (Vitro Laboratories) has successfully completed factory testing and has been shipped to Big Rock Point.
The four 6" x 10" depressurizing valves (Target Rock Corporation) have also completed factory testing requirements and are in transit to Big Rock Point.
The problem with the position indicator switches previously reported has been satisfagtorily resolved.
All ASME Section III piping has been delivered to Big Rock Point. The remaining pipe and fittings vill be delivered by the end of January 1976.
All components of the Uninterruptible Power Pipply System, Solid-State Controls, have been fabricated and tested satisfactorily. Delivery of this material is scheduled by December 19, 1975 The construction effort is behind schedule due to lack of electrical matel-ials and approved installation procedures.
It is planned to implement a second ex-tended shift prior to the shutdown to make up a portion of the lost time. Also, consideration is being given to postponing the outage start date in order to make effective use of the shutdown time.
The Catalytic construction group has completed a temporary storage building with necessary facilities for receipt, storage and disbursement control of material.
Welders and welding procedures have been qualified. Installation of conduit and hangers inside containment has begun. The first phase of the concrete core drill-ing has been completed and fabrication of pipe subasse=blies is under way.

Of the 32 Construction Work Pt ckages required for the Reactor Depressurizing System, 20 have been issued and the balance will be issued by February 6,1976.
~
Critical material deliveries consist of the pipe restraints, supports and snubbers as well as a 2" cylinder operated globe valve (Class I). These items are being expedited to insure the project completion date will not be adversely affected.
The start-up program organization and charter have been established. Six of the required 14 start-up test procedures have been issued, with the balance due for completion by February 27, 1976.
The present construction schedule is based on a presently scheduled January 9, 1976 shutdown and completion of all construction and start-up test work by Apri3-15, Ralph B. Sewell Nuclear Licensing Administrator CC: JGKeppler, USNRC File j
