ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT NO. 45 FOR FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE l
NO. DPR-73 TO POSSESSION ONLY LICENSE FOR THREE MILE ISLAND NUCLEAR STATION UNIT 2 (TAC NO. M69115)
The Comrission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 45 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-73 for the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 2 (TMI-2).
4 This amendment is in response to your application of August 16, 1988 as amended.
This amendment modifies Facility Operating License No. DPR-73 to a possession only license (POL).
This amendment incorporates the current TH1-2 Appendix A and B Technical Specifications without modification. The staff plans to issue the Post-Defueling Monitored Storage (PDMS) Technical Specifications after you have substantially satisfied the PDMS commitments and requirements contained in your letter of January 15, 1993, and just before you are ready to enter PDMS.
A copy of the related Safety Evaluation supporting this amendment is enclosed.
Notice of issuance will be included in the Commission biweekly Federal Reaister notice, j
