I have received your letter of August 26,1993 concerning the request for.
exemption from annual fees recently imposed upon non-profit educational
' licenses. Your letter contained an error which I wish to correct. My letter of.
August 10 was not a request for an exemption. Instead,it was a request for confirmation concerning my interpretation of the Notice to Non-Profit Educational Licensees, dated August 5.1993, sent to us by the NRC. THE
- UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN INTENDS TO SUBMIT A REQUEST FOR AN.
EXEMPTION BY THE DUE DATE OF NOVEMBER 17,1993.
The August 5 notice states that the Commission will provide guidance concerning the pertinent considerations that should be addressed in the i
exemption request and that this will be either sent by direct mail, or will be published in the Federal Register. I would like to request that I be sent a copy by.
direct mail, since there is a delay in receiving the Federal Register.
