SERVICE WATER SYSTEM OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE INSPECTION We have received your letter of March 23, 1994, informing us of your plans to perform a self assessment of the service water system operational performance at Fort Calhoun Station.
Based on your commitment to perform a self assessment and your prior good performance in engineering, we have delayed our planned service water system operational performance inspection. NRC's decision on acceptance of your self-assessment in lieu of our inspection will be made in accordance with NRC Inspection Procedure 40501, " Licensee Self-Assessment Related to Area-Of-Emphasis Inspection." The decision depends on the details of your self-assessment process, including the schedule, scope, level of effort, and team qualification. We expect these details to be submitted by July 1, 1994, as stated in your letter of March 23, 1994.
