NOTICE OF DEVIATIOF; 1
Commonwealth Edison Company Docket Nos.
50-454; 50-455 Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station License Nos. NPF-37; NPF-66 Units 1 and 2 During an NRC inspection conducted on March 7-25, a deviation of your response to Notice of Violation, dated March 29, 1993, was identified.
In accordance with the " General Statement of Policy and Procedure for NRC Enforcement Action," 10 CFR Part 2, Appendix C, the deviation is listed below:
In response to violations 254/265-93005-1 and 154/265-93005-2, the licen a committed to incorporate the closed safety function for valves 1(2)-2301 a in the IST program by September 30, 1993.
Contrary to the above, as of March 25, 1994, the closed safety function for valves 1(2)-2301-39 was not incorporated in the IST program.
Please provide to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, ATTN:
Document Control Desk, Washington, D.C. 20555, with a copy to the Regional Administrator, Region III, and a copy to the NRC Resident Inspector at the facility that is the subject of this Notice, in writing within 30 days of the date of this Notice, the reason (s) for the deviation, the corrective steps which hav.e been taken and the results achieved, the corrective steps which will be taken to avoid further deviations, and the date when your corrective action will be completed. Where good cause is shown, consideration will be given to extending the response time.
