Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 Response to Inspection Report 90-18 Your letter dated January 3, 1991 identified a problem with the ceforence material GPUN provided to your office for preparation of operator exams administered in October, 1990. Specifically, the materials were considered incomplete and out-of-date.
As requested, this response identifies corrective actions planned to prevent recurrence.
The cause of the occurrence is attributed to a lack of attention to detail in the compilation and verification of the material combined with a lack of clear responsibility for this task. Accordingly, a procedure revision will be made to identify-the position responsible for shipment of a complete and current set of. reference material. Additionally, the procedure will require.a manager or supervisor in the operations training section to personally inventory the.
material. prior to shipment.
