ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT NO.117 TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NPF-9 AND AMENDMENT NO. 99 TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NPF MCGUIRE NUCLEAR STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 - CORRECTION (TAC 79337)
On February 27, 1991 the Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued Amendment No. 117 to facility Operating License NPF-9 and Amendment No. 99 to Facility Operating License NPF-17 for the McGuire Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2.
The amendments reduce from 75% to 50% the number of moveable incore detector thimbles required for the Moveable Incore Detection System to be operable, thus allowing continued operation of Unit I should the current problem with sticking detector thimbles beccme worse.
The amended TS page 3/4 3-45 was issued with an error in the footnote. Please replace that page with the corrected page enclosed.
