D ATTACHMENT 2 S BNP 18-MONTH REGULATORY AGENDA / SCHEDULE EXPLANATION NOTES
[ o 1 BNP 18-MONTH REGULATORY AGENDA / SCHEDULE EX?LANATION NOTES i CATEGORIES: Items are divided into three categories: Z1, Z2, and Z3 Categories 21 and Z2: Items that require some type of "NRC Action" to support BNP (i.e., issue Technical Specification changes, approve relief requests, etc.). NOTE: Items which are of greatest importance to plant operations generally are grouped in Category 1 (such as may require early shutdown, delay unit startup, or impact outage if not approved). Category 23: Items that DO NOT require "NRC Action" to support BNP-(i.e., CP&L responses to Generic Letters and Bulletins, FSAR amendment submittal, etc.) but require BNP submittal. PRIORITIZATION: Items within a category are prioritized by letter designation-with "A" representing the highest priority. Priorities'and " target schedules" are consistent with Nuclear Prioritization codes and reviewed with BNP Regulatory Compliance. The " target" schedules are finalized through discussions with the NRC Project Manager (PM),. recognizing plant "need dates" as well as the need to levelize demand on NRC resources.
