20555 Dear Sir Subjects Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 Response to Request for Information References GPU Nuclear letter No. C321-91-2016, dated January 22, 1991 By the letter referenced above, GPU Nuclear notified the USNRC that approved ASME Code case N-461. " Alternate rules for piping calibration block thickness",
would be invoked for the purpose of preliminary thicknese calibratione performed at the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station.
This code case was documented as acceptable Ln Regulatory Guide 1.147.
Subsequent conversations with the NRC staf f confirmed that GPU Nuclear had accepted the limiting condition for Code Case N-461 specified in R01.147.
This condition specified that:

Thie letter dockets the CPU Nuclear agreement with and acceptance of thle condition.
