Crystal River Unit 3 Docket No. 50-302 Operating License No. DPR-72 NUREG-0737 Items I.A.2.1.4 and ll.B.4

Dear Sir:

Florida Power Corporation (FPC) has received and reviewed your December 27,1982 letter.

On January 24, 1983, FPC contacted our NRC Project Manager, Mr. M. Fairtile, to clarify several of the questions in Enclosure 1 of your letter.

Because of the unavailability of the NRC Reviewer until the first week of February 1983, Mr. Fairtile verbally agreed to extend the response period of the subject letter.

A new response date will be determined subsequent to conversations between Mr. Fairtile, the NRC Reviewer, and FPC.

Sincerely, j
