Dear Sir:

The NRC was notified of a Potentially Reportable Deficiency in Reference (A), an Interim Report was transmitted by Reference (B), and a Time Extension was requested by Reference (C). At that time, it l

was estimated that a Final Report would be available by February 8, l

1983.

Due to the extensive investigation and evaluacion required, it is now expected that this information will be finalized by April 5, 17"3, when a complete report will be submitted.

There is no new information or change to the Interim Report at this time.
