POTENTIAL SABOTAGE.- SALEM NUCLEAR STATION

Ray E. Shepherd, Physical Security Inspector (Investigator), Region I,
Office of Inspection and Enforcement (IE), was contacted by telephone on
November 12 and 13,1980, with regard to the IE investigation of the
-
captioned subject.
Shepherd advised that he conducted and wrote the
,
related IE Investigation Report No. 50-272/80-22.
He-indicated that '.

Agent John Camera with the Camden, New Jersey, Office of the FBI, and
Detective Sergeant Edward Gay with the New Jersey State Police in
Bridgeton, New Jersey, are also investigating the incident.
Shepherd advised he could not comment on the technical ramifications of
the incident A*nd referred me to Lief Norrholm who is NRC's Resident
Inspector at the Salem Nuclear Station.
