DIFFERING PROFESSIONAL OPINION 16, 1982 you submitted an alternative to reach resolution of your On March DP0 given the objection of General Electric to your proposed. visit to
$an Jose for the purpose of reviewing fabrication procedures.
J Your alternative consists of requesting that fabrication procedures, includ-ing welding and in-process and final heat treatment, be provided for ongoing reviews of BWR reactor internals. You further propose, as part of your alternative,.to review the Monticello ISI records of Section XI examination category B-N-2.
Requesting the above specified febrication procedure for two BWR OLs, whose MTEB SER inputs have not been provided to DL, is acceptable to me.
It is also acceptable to me for you to review the above specified ISI records.
Within 30 days you should provide me with your estimated schedule for
. implementing this plan, including the names of the OL plants that will be asked to provide their f abrication procedures, your estimated schedule for performing your review of the Monticello ISI records and your estimated schedule for providing a report to me with your finding and recommendations for resolution of this DPO.
