Which position is responsible for fuel and neutron source handling procedures and administrative controls?
The Nuclear Engineering Engineer-Nuclear has overall responsibility for fuel and neutron source handling procedures and administrative controls at Waterford 3.
2.
What are the minimum qualifications for the above position?
The minimum qualifications for the above position are in conformance with ANSI /ANS 3.1-1978 "American National Standard for Selection and Training of Nuclear Power Plant Personnel, "Section 4.4.1 " Reactor Engineering."
In summary, these qualifications are that the person filling this position shall have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or the Physical Sciences and four years experience or a graduate degree and three years experience.
j Two of these years shall be nuclear plant experience. This is in accordance with the qualifications outlined in FSAR Table 13.1-3.

Who is responsible for fuel handling training?
LP&L Nuclear Training Department has coordinated vendor training for personnel associated with fuel handling. Training for inspection and receipt procedures is included in technician and fuel inspector training programc. Middle South Services Quality Assurance Department is con-ducting training to qualify a sufficient number of fuel inspectors.
