Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station Docket No. 50/395 Operating License No. NPF-12 Emergency Technical Specification Change

Dear Mr. Denton:

South Carolina Electric and Gas Company (SCE&G) requests that emergency changes be processed for the Technical Specification items as shown on the attached " marked-up" pages 3/4 3-19, 3/4 3-21, and 3/4 3-22.

A summary of these changes and associated justifications are as follows:

1)

Table 3.3-3, item 4(b) - The " Action" column for this 21 instead of item should address Action Statement This change is in accordance Action Statement 19.

This change is in accordance with Westinghouse Standard Technical Specifications.

These changes have been reviewed and approved by both the Plant Safety Review Committee and the Nuclear Safety Review Committee as required by the Technical Specifications.

A check in the amount of twelve hundred dollars ($1,200.00) is enclosed for processing of this Class II Amendment to the Operating License.
