(A) Telephone Conversation between J. Eckhardt and G. Duckworth on October 15, 1982 (B) ANPP-22179, dated November 1,1982 (Interim Report)

Dear Sir:

The NRC was notified of a Potentially Reportable Deficiency in Reference (A), and an Interim Report was transmitted by Reference (B).

At that time, it was estimated that a Final Report would be available by January 11, 1983.

Due to the extensive investigation and evaluation required, it is now expected that this information will be finalized by February 11, 1983, when a complete Report wD1 ha submitted.

There is no new inft"A tio or change to the Interim Report at this time.
