Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 1 (TMI-1)
Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 Qualification of Training Instructors The ASLB Special Masters Partial Initial Decision of July 27, 1982 (Reopened Proceedings) page 147, paragraph 2347.2 requires:
" Licensee shall establish criteria for qualification of training instructors to ensure a high level of competence in instruction...".
This condition is required to be satisfied within the first two years after restart authorization and the NRC staff is to certify to the Commission, Licensee's compliance with this condition.
GPU has revised its' n!I Training Manual to incorporate procedure no. 6210-ADM-1340.05 Operator Training Instructor Indoctrination / Qualification Training Program (attached). This procedure fulfills the PID condition and may be certified by the NRC staff as complete.
