(1) R F Warnick letter to J W Cook, dated September 22, 1982, Inspection Report No 50-329/82-18 and 50-330/82-18 (2) J W Cook letter to J G Keppler, Serial 19087, dated November 5, 1982 Reference 1 transmitted Inspection Report 82-18 which contained four items of noncompliance.
Reference 2, which was in response to Reference 1, committed to providing additional information to two of the items; these being the items on separation criteria and slope layback.
The following are additionci steps we plan to implement to assure meeting the FSAR for separation criteria.
Bechtel Project Engineering issued DCN #163, dated November 24, 1982 a.

Field Engineering has drafted a procedure on the " Installation of b.
Separation Barriers" (FIE-4.200). A final procedure is anticipated by December 31, 1982.
The procedure will include a walkdown by Field Engineering to identify areas in the plant where separation barriers are needed. The appropriate method of documentation of identified areas is under evaluation.
