Gentlemen:

This refers to the inspection conducted under the Resident Inspection Pmgram

by Mr. L. A. Yandell of this office during the period November 1-30, 1982, of

activities authorized by NRC Facility Operating License DPR-40 for the Fort

Calhoun Station, and to the discussion of our findings with a member of your

staff at the conclusion of the inspection.

Areas examined during the inspection and our findings are documented in the

enclosed inspection report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of

selective examination of pmcedures and representative records, interviews

with personnel, and observations by the NRC inspector.

Within tho scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were identi-

by telephone, within IC days of the date of this letter and submit written
