Letter to Judges Lazo, Callihan and Cole January 17, 1983 Page 2 On page 6 the Opinion states that West Valley' failed to provide a citation for quoting the Operating License Final Environmental Statement (FES-OL) as stating that "the staff does not expect impacts from salt-drift deposition." I thought it might be useful to correct the record by pointing out that we did provide a citation for that statement on page 4 of our memorandum, although, as indicated in your Opinion, we did not repeat that citation on page 8. As our citation indicates, the quote is from the scetion of the FES-OL which summarizes the impact of salt drift deposition on the environment and is located on page 5-10.
