November 20, 1962 Mr. Lyal1 ' Johnson p

Assistant Director for Faterials Licensing f,

Division of Licensin6 and Regulation U. S. Atomic Energy Comission I

Washington 25, D.C.

1 lbar Mr. Johnson:

I This is in reply to your letter dated October 26, 1962, referring to our Special nuclear I.hterial License SIC.!-154 and our Ictters of August 3 and Septenber 20, 1961.

The last shipment of enriched uranium held under SIGi-154 was made to Station CCC on Ihy 12, 1961.

Our Faterial Status Report (AEC-578) 6 for the period ending June 30,19 2, reported that Spencer had no specini nuclear raterial on hand,' and none has been received since that time.

~N Since ve have discontinued all activities with special nuclear material and dismt. led processing equipment, there is no need to keep S121.-154 active. Please advise if we need to take further action to terminate Si2i-154. =

Very tiuly yours, 7'
