ADDITIONAL WATER STORAGE CAPACITY By letter dated November 12, 1982, you requested our concurrence with your plan to proffde additional water storage capacity for THI-l by connecting a THI-2 condensate storage tank to THI-l and physically isolating that tank from THI-2 We have reviewed your plan and find that we need the additional information described in the enclosure to complete our review. Please provide the requested information at your earliest convenience.

The reporting and/or recordkeeping requirements contained in this letter affect fewer than ten respondents; therefore, OMB clearance is not required under P.L.96-511.

REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REGARDING TRANSFER OF TMI-2 CONDENSATE STORAGE TANK TO UNIT l 1.

Provide justification that the 250,000 gallon TMI-2 condensate storage tank proposed for transfer to Unit 1 is no longer needed for future surge capacity in Unit 2.

Include in your evaluation estimates of expected water inleakage, future inplant uses of processed water, and impacts on water storage capacity.
