This refers to your letter dated November 1,1982, which fonfarded a revision

to the Yankee Security Plan. The revision, to clarify a portion of the

plan addressing intrusion alarms and access control, has been foniarded

to NRC-u!!SS for review and concurrence. tie have no further questions

with regard to the intrusion alarm and access controls concerns identified

during the subject inspection.

These actions will be examined during

a future inspection of your licensed program, t!e understand a construction

and implementation schedule for the CAS double barrier, will be submitted

to Region I by January 18, 1983.

In accordance with 10 CFR 73.21 of the NRC's regulations, documentation of

findings of your facility security neasures for physical protection are

deemed to be Safeguards Information.

Each person who produces, receives,

or acquires Safeguards Information is required to ensure that it is protected

against unauthorized disclosure. Therefore, the enclosure to the referenced

letter will not be placed in the Public Document Room and will be

distributed pursuant to 10 CFR 73.21(c).
