Dear Mr. Thomas:
Clinton Power Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-461 To resolve SER Confirmatory Issue #7 (3.8.3) Illinois Power Company has undertaken a Masonry Blockwall Test Program to' determine the modulus of rupture of concrete block masonry walls representative of the masonry walls of Clinton-Power Station Unit #1.
Construction of the masonry test walls at Construction Technology Laboratories (CTL) a Division of Portland Cement Association (PCA) has been completed.
Testing of these walls will commence at 1:00 p.m. December 20, 1982 and will continue through December 21, 1982.
As previously discussed with Mr. David Jeng NRC-SEB, the NRC is welcome to witness any part or all of the above testing.
The PCA Laboratories are located at:
