50-328 Enclosed is the basis for our request to perform a short duration integrated leak rate test (Type A) at our Sequoyah Nuclear Plant. The short duration test will be performed in accordance with the enclosed Bechtel Topical Report NB-TOP-1, Revision 1 dated November 1, 1972,
" Testing Criteria for Integrated Leakage Rate Testing of Primary Containment Structures for Nuclear Power Plants." We understand that use of this topical report has been previously approved by NRC. Use of this topical report will not require any FSAR or technical specification changes. Please provide your response to this request as soon as possible in order for this test to be scheduled for Sequoyah Nuclear Plant unit 1 operations.
