Dear Mr. Ernst:

This is in response to your letter dated September 22, 1982, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), any and all preliminary and final CRAC results obtained by the NRC staff for the Pilgrim site.

This confirms the agreement made between you and Linda Robinson during a telephone conversation on October 15, 1982.

Ms. Robinson informed you that NRC provided cert'ain pertinent records to Jo Ann Shotwell, Massachusetts Assistant Attorney General, in response to her F0IA request (FOIA-81-283), and she also informed you that at the time NRC received your F0IA request the staff was completing a pertinent NUREG report.

You stated your intent to contact Ms. Shotwell regarding pertinent records NRC provided to her and agreed to await completion and distribution of the NUREG report, to be provided to you in response to your request.

We are enclosing a copy of the subject report, NUREG/CR-2239, " Technical Guidance for Siting Criteria Development".

This con.pletes NRC's action on your request.
