Independent Quality Assurance Evaluation of Waterford 3 The NRC staff has reviewed Revision A of the Torrey Pines Technology program plan submitted by your letter of September 1,1982 to Frank J. Miraglia. This revision reflects changes made to the original plan which addresses coments made by the staff at a meeting held on August 24, 1982.

We find that our concerns have been adequately addressed, and the revised program plan is acceptable. This letter is to confirm our verbal approval to proceed with the evaluation under the revised plan.
