This refers to the routine inspection conducted by Mr. J. F. Schapker of this
office on August 16-18, 25 - September 10, 1982, of activities authorized by NRC
Construction Permit Nos. CPPR-150, CPPR-151, CPPR-152, CPPR-153 for the
Hartsville facility and to the discussion of our findings held with Mr. W. T.
Quinn, Site Construction Engineer, at the conclusion of the inspection.
This inspection was a comprehensive examination of your management and quality
assurance controls related to licensed activities.
Inspection was conducted in
selected key areas of responsibilty at both the plant site and your corporate
offices. Areas examined during the inspection and our findings are discussed in
the enclosed inspection report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of
selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with
personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations or deviations were disclosed.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosure will
be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room unless you notify this office, by
telephone, within ten days of the date of this letter and sutmit written appli-
cation to withhold information contained therein within thirty days of the date
of this letter. Such application must be consistent with the requirements of
