McGuire Nuclear Station Docket Nos. 50-369 and 50-370

Dear Mr. Denton:

The proposed Technical Specifications for McGuire Units I and 2 are enclosed (five copies) for NRC review.

Note that these specifications are for both Unit 1 and Unit 2 as was previously discussed with the NRC Staff.

This submittal con-sists of Westinghouse Standard Technical Specifications, revision 4 which have been modified for McGuire.

In order to implement these on Unit 1, a license amendment to include these Technical Specifications will need to be issued con-current with the Unit 2 license.

In order to expedite NRC review, the proposed Technical Specifications are being submitted without certain lists of specific Unit 2 components being included.

These lists will be provided as they are compiled.

It is expected that additional changes will be proposed during the course of the forthcoming review. We will work with the NRC Staff during this review to resolve any concerns which are identified.
