4 Event Narrative:

Unit 2 was in a retueling outage; unit 3 was operating at 95-percent power.

Units 2 and 3 were unaffected,by this event. With unit 1 operating at 96-percent power, during the performance of surveillance instruction (SI) 4.11.A.l.g, Building Hydraulic Performance Verification, it was detemined the station II cable tray fixed spray system did not meet technical specification requirements i

as shown in Table 3.11.A.

There was no effect on public health and safety.

A patrolling firewatch was established in accordance with Technical Specifications 3.11.A.2.

There are no redundant systems.

The strainer (Fisher Governor Co., Fre-Flo 260C) to this staticn was removed, cleaned, and flushed and the station retested and found to meet technical specification requirements. This station will therefore be retested within 18 months (technical specification frequency is once/3 years) in order _ to detemine

.any further changes in perrormance.
