Structural Engineering Design Audit for Limerick The Structural Engineering Branch (SEB) will conduct a design audit of the Limerick Generating Station at Bechtel's offices at 221 Main Street in San Francisco on October 19 through October 22, 1982, as previously arranged with your staff. The purpose of this audit is:
(a) To investigate the manner in which the applicant has implemented the structural design criteria that he committed to use for the facility.
(b) To verify that key structural design calculations have been conducted in ar acceptable manner.
(c) To identify and assess the safety significance of those areas where plant structures were designed and analyzed using methods other than those recommended in the SRP.
The agenda for the audit will be as follows:
(a) A presentation by PECO/Bechtel which provides an overview of the plant design. This presentation should last about 2 to 3 hours3.472222e-5 days <br />8.333333e-4 hours <br />4.960317e-6 weeks <br />1.1415e-6 months <br /> and will begin at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, October 19.
(b) A discussion of the progress of PECO's responses to SEB requests for additional information dated April 14, 1982 and July 15, 1982.
(c) An audit of design calculations to include:
