DOCUMENT REQUEST FOR STATION BLACKOUT RULE.

IMPLEMENTATION INSPECTION As discussed with Ms. Nancy Desmond of your staff, we have scheduled an inspection at your Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station for the week of September 20-24,1993. The purpose of this inspection is to venfy the adequacy of your program, procedures,' training, equipment and systems, and supporting documentation for implementing the Station Blackout (SBO) rule,10 CFR 50.63.

In order to conduct this inspection, we will need to review, in advance, documents l

concerning coping with an SBO event. We request that you send one copy of the documents identified in the enclosure to the NRC, Region I office, c/o Mr. J. Trapp, 475 Allendale Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406, by September 13, 1993.
