dated April 1973 and Errata and Addenda Sheet dated Ihy 21, 1973

'Ihe data pmsented in this report are based on tests perforned by GECo at Quad-Cities Unit 2.

As the result of our review of the above reportsue find the following 1

infomation relating to your facility is neechd to supplenent the infomation in the E Ivport:

1.

A sumary of the ntmber of each relief valve operation, how initiated (nanually or automatically), and when the opemtions occurred, such as during starttp testing, other testing or nortal operation. The auxary of these operaticris should be ceparated into six-nonth periods from the initiation of facility startup tests to the present tine. 'Ihis infomation is requested within 30 days of the date of this letter. Future relief valve operutions should be reported in the facility send.-anntal operating reports in the canner requested above.

A pmposed technical specification for Limiting Condition of Operating (LCO) and Surveillance Ibquimnents of the torus structure.

Your proposal should include inspection mquirements and frequencies for surface coatirgs, structurbi cbforention and nnterial corrosion. Include with your pmposed techn cal specifications the bases for the If0 and Surveillance Pcquirerents.

It is requested that you submit these proposed technical specif1-cations within 60 days of the date of this letter.
