Gentlemen:
This refers to the inspection conducted on February 27--March 1,1974,
by Mr. Hueter of this office of activities authorised by AEC Operating
License No. DPR-22 and to the discussion of our findings with Messrs.
Clarity and Fliason of your staff at the ecocissies of the inspection
and subsequently on March 29, 1974 with Mr. Larosa.
The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas en=fnad
during the inspection. 91 thin these areas, the taspection eensisted
of a selective ensadaatten of procedures and repsesentattge ressuds i

interviews with plant persennel, and observations by the inspector.
This inspection included a review of Items 2 and 3 of the three items
described in our letter dated June 29, 197;.
During this inspection certain of your activities were found to be in
apparent violation of AEC requiresmats, as described under Rnforcement
i
Actism in the Susnary of Fladiass Section of the saaleoed inspecties
report.
This notice is sent to you pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.201
of ths AEC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2. Title 10, Code of Federal Reg-
ulations. Section 2.201 requires you to submit to this office within

twenty days of your receipt of this notice a written statement or
explanation in reply, including for Violation A:
