The Regulatory staff has cotnpleted its review of the General Electric Cor.:pany proprietary topical report NEDE-10958 " General Electric BWR Thernal Analysis Basis (CETAB): Data, Correlation and Decip.n Application" (NEDO-10958, non-proprietary version).
Enclosed is the Regulatory staff's evaluation of this report.
As a result of our review, we have concluded that the above report provides an acceptable boiling transition correlation and an acceptable method of thermal analysis of GE BVR 8x8 and 7x7 fuel assemblica.
In this regard, the revised CETAB-based Technical Specifications for the Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant should be submitted no later than the subnittal date of your ECCS reevaluation required by the j
