Dear Administrative Judges:

In its Order of July 28, 1983 delineating certain procedures for the August hearings, this Board directed "the Applicants to inform the Board and the parties by August 10, 1983 of the order in which Applicants intend to present their case."

In lieu thereof, the Staff has undertaken to discuss this matter with the Applicants and all parties or participants who have either sponsored a contention or filed testimony for the August hearings.

As a result thereof, agreement has been reached for the following sequence for the litigation of contentions.

For each contention litigated, the order of proceeding, following standard NRC practice is Applicant going first, intervenor witnesses (if any) second, and Staff witnesses last.

The proposed order of presentation is thus, as follows:
