APPDIDIX A NOTICE OF DEVIATI0ll Duquesne Light Campany Docket No. 50-412 Beaver Valley Pouer Station, Unit 2 License No. CPPR-105 As a result of the inspection conducted on June 1 - July 11,1983, and in accordance with the NRC Enforcement Policy (10 CFR 2. Appendix C) published in the Federal Register on March 9,1982 (47 FR 9987), the following deviation was idenTWieTi The Duquesne Light Company letter of January 31,1983, in response to an NRC letter dated November 1,1982, which forwarded a Notice of Violation and apprised you of several other NRC concerns, stated that a review would be started by Narch 1,1983 on installed pipe support baseplates to determine and reconcile excessive baseplate gaps.
Contrary to the above, as of June 13, 1983, no review of installed pipe sup-port baseplates had been started to detemine and reconcile excessive base-Plate gaps.

Duquesne Light Company is hereby required to submit to this office within 30 days of the date of the letter transmitting this Notice, a written statement or explav ation in reply, including fot* each deviation:
(1) the corrective steps which have been taken and the results achieved; (2) the corrective steps which will be taken to avoid further deviations;1and (3) the date when cornctive action will be com-plated.
