NOTICE OF INTENT TO FILE Intervenor Patricia Lee Hourihan and petitioner Palo Verde Intervention Fund hereby notify the Commission of their present intention to file with the Commission within two weeks a Motion to Reopen the Record concerning Palo Verde Unit 1, and a Motion to Admit Contentions concerning the problems described in PNO-V-83-29 (July 19, 1983) and PNO-V-83-29A (July 26, 1983). 1/

l 1/ Intervenor and petitioner first learned of these problems on Saturday, July 30, 1983, in a newspaper article, and it was not until August 1, 1983 that they received copies of the two PNO's and discussed them with their counsel. In order to preserve their right to move to reopen, after a preliminary evaluation of these problems, they deemed it advisable to file with the Commission this Notice of Intent to File. See 10 CFR 2.714.
