Dear Sir:

The NRC was notified of a potentially reportable deficiency in Reference (A), and Interim Report was transmitted by Reference (B), Time Extensions were requested by References (C), (F), and (G), and an Interim Report was transmitted by Reference (E) in response to the NRC's request in Reference (D) for additional information. At that time, it was eetimated that a Final Report would be available by June 28, 1983.

Due to the extensive investigation and evaluation required, it is now expected that this information will be finalized by August 29, 1983, at which time a complete report will be submitted.
