Physical Security - Transportation Inspection This letter refers to the routine safeguards inspection conducted by Mr.
D. W. Schaefer of this office on June.15,16 and 20,1983 of activities regarding SSNM shipped from San Diego, California to Denver, Colorado. This letter also refers to the discussion ~ of our findings held by the inspector with you on June 22, 1983.

Areas examined during this inspection included your progra'm for safeguarding special nuclear material under the applicable provisions of Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 73,_" Physical Protection of Plants-and Materials" and the specific requirements of license conditions and'the approvedLSecurity Plan. Within these areas, the inspection consisced of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.

Within the scope of this inspection, no violations or deviations were observed.
The material enclosed herewith contains Safeguards Information as defined by 10 CFR 73.21 and its disclosure to unauthorized individuals is prohibited by Section 147 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended. Therefore, the-material, with the exception of the report cover page which is an inspection summary, will not be placed in the Public Document Room.
