AMENDMENT TO OPERATING LICENSES NPF-4 AND NPF-7 NORTH ANNA POWER STATION UNIT NOS. 1 AND 2 SUPPLEMENT TO PROPOSED TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGE By our letter dated June 24, 1982, Serial No. 264, Vepco proposed changes to the Technical Specifications for North Anna Power Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2 to reflect the reorganization in the Quality Assurance Department and the addition of Director-Emergency Planning to the Nuclear Operations Department.
The proposed changes enclosed supplement our above referenced license amendment application.
The enclosed changes reflect the most recent reorganization within the Nuclear Operations Department and Security Department.
This proposed change also reflects a change in the, title and responsibilities of the Executive Vice President-Power.
In addition, this change adds the requirement to retain the records for at least five years when the Station Emergency Plan and implementing procedures and the Station Security Plan and implementing procedures are annually audited.
These proposed Technical Specification changes affect both the North Anna 1 and 2 Appendix A and B Technical Specifications.
If these proposed Technical Specification changes are approved prior to January 1, 1984, the changes to Appendix B must be incorporated into the Part 1-Radiological Environmental Technical Specifications.
On January 1,
1984, the Part 1 Radiological Environmental Technical Specifications are to be deleted (refer to Amendments 48 and 31 for North Anna Unit Nos. 1 and 2, respectively) from the Appendix B Technical Specifications, therefore, these changes to Appendix B will not be necessary.
The proposed changes to the North Anna Unit 1 Appendix A and B Technical Specifications are provided in Attachments 1 and 2,
respectively.
The proposed changes to the North Anna Unit 2 Appendix A and B Technical Specifications are provided in Attachments 3 and 4,
respectively.
A discussion of the proposed changes is provided in Attachment 5.
