The NRC has completed a review of the Zack Company welding prccedures and welder performaw a testing.
This review, which was conducted by the Senior Resident Inspector, consisted of the following:
(1) A review of the welding procedures to assure compliance with the American Welding Society Standards (2) Observation of a representative sample of welders performing welding activities in the shop and field to those procedures (3) A review of the result of the destructive testing of the welding specimens Based on the results of this review you are authorized to proceed with the fabrication and welding of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.
