We have recently been made aware of the' organizational structure which has been established by the B&W Owners Group to deal with generic regulatory issues. Consistent with our previous discussion, NRR has identified individual contacts at the Branch Chief level or higher as shown in for each of the sub-committees operating under the Owners Group Steering Committee. These contacts are for the technical interaction between the sub-committees and the staff.

I have designated Mr. Gus Lainas, Assistant Director for Operating Reactors, as the licensing contact with overall responsibility to coordinate and manage the staff's interactions.
