Docket 50-305 Operating License DPR-43 Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant IE Bulletin 83-03: Check Valve Failures in Raw Water Cooling Systems of Diesel Generators In response to the " Required Actions for Holders of Operating Licenses" in the reference IE Bulletin:

A review of drawings and a physical walkdown of cooling water piping for the Diesel Generators has verified that there are no check valves in this flow path. Therefore, the requested actions are not applicable to Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant.

Approximately two (2) hours of staff time was expended to prepare this response.
